Renault Launch New App for Trafic and Master

French Car Manufacturer, Renault, has launched a new app that works in conjunction with their Trafic and Master models, and is designed to appeal to van owners and small businesses. This app promises to add some of the functionality of fleet management software without the hefty price tag normally associated with this product.

Currently only available on the new Trafic and re-launched Master models, this app provides a range of business services, including:

• Turn-by-turn satellite navigation
• Vehicle trip computer giving the drivers Eco2 rating & fuel economy figures
• Multimedia functions such as internet radio
• Provides telephone commands including reading text messages and hands free calling

All these functions can be easily accessed from the main menu, allowing for safe, hands-free use while driving. This helps drivers to operate the vehicle legally at all times, avoiding large fines, points on the licence and potentially bans that could cost your business thousands in profit.

The app itself is free and is compatible with iOS and Android smartphones, however to access the sat-nav feature there is a one-off payment of £19.99. You can also take out a one month free trial to see the benefits of this feature before committing to the purchase.
